My career began in the vibrant city of Chennai, India, where I started as a kindergarten teacher. This early experience ignited my love for teaching and nurturing young minds. After a period working with the Indian Railways, life took a wonderful turn with marriage and motherhood, bringing me back to my first love—teaching. In 2007, I started my art classes, marking the beginning of my dedicated journey in art education.

Over the years, I've remained a lifelong learner, continually educating myself to bring the best to my students. My art and teaching qualifications include a Diploma in Pre and Primary Teachers' Training with specialization in Teaching English from The American TESOL Institute, a Diploma in Fine Arts from the National Institute of Fine Arts in India, and various certificates ranging from Natural History Illustration from The University of Newcastle, Australia, to Critical Thinking through Art with the National Gallery of Art in Washington, DC. I also hold certificates in European Paintings: Art History from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, Product Design for Entrepreneurship from Hong Kong PolyU, Service-Learning Pedagogy and Practice from Hong Kong PolyU, and I am a certified Therapeutic Art Life Coach.

 

Currently residing in Hong Kong with my supportive husband and our wonderful daughter, I am now an empty nester, with the time and energy to fully immerse myself in my passion for art education. Our mission is to foster creativity, critical thinking, and emotional intelligence in children and adults alike.
